Who's Astrid Jaekel?

From West Cork, Ireland, Astrid is now based in Edinburgh where she works as both a freelance Illustrator and Illustration tutor at Edinburgh College of Art. 

Her work is best known for its atmospheric and playful use of mixed media, primarily using print making and drawing techniques.

Commissioned by Banton Frameworks, we're excited to reveal this limited edition cloth featuring a carousel scene inspired by her trip to America the year prior.
