Finally, the belated arrival of snow has bestowed our mountains here in Scotland. Several feet has fallen over the past few days, casting a white carpet over some of Scotlands most dramatic scenery. Glencoe, or in Gaelic, Gleann Comhann, is one of our most favoured areas. To drive the breathtaking A82 road will take you past numerous lochs and peaks including the 'Three Sisters'. Made of three Munros, Gearr Aonach, Aonach Dubh and Beinn Fhada, the photograph above showcases the serene splendor of their beauty.
As the weekend approaches this photograph reminds us not to overlook what is right in front of us. Whilst these mountains might not be on your doorstep, it's important to savour what surrounds you, snowcapped or otherwise.
