In the icy grasp of February, we found ourselves amongst the streets of Manchester filming our sunglasses campaign video.
Blatantly winter, the weather was changeable and the air was cold. Our choice to film in the UK’s coldest month was kindled by the inspiration for the collection itself. Between cups of warm tea, we firmly reminded ourselves that this footage embraced the inspiration behind Profile. Industrious by nature, the manufacturing history of Manchester laid scene to our campaign video.
Understated in style, Profile was designed with the user in mind. Bearing discreet external branding, Profile confidently poses it’s satin finished frame front and matt PVD coated temples. Positioned as a unisex design, the neutral palette of urban Manchester was apt for our campaign video. These sunglasses embrace the sporadic sunlight of British Summer Time.
Filming led us through the city’s merchant district, to St. Peters Square. Accompanied by two models and film crew, the surrounding architecture harmonised with the understated attire. Vulcanised raincoats by Hancock and Merino under-layers by local label Private White VC, played to the muted nature of Profile. Despite the cold weather, the urban scenes of our campaign video is homage to the renowned past of Manchester’s textile industry.
With thanks to Liv from Private White and Daniel & Colin from Hancock VA.
